Speculative Design | Future News: Let's talk about our Smart City! | g0v Summit 2020 台灣零時政府雙年會

Future News is a 20-minute speculative experience which aims at evoking deep conversation on a certain topic by providing future news radio of the topic. This design transforms serious discussions of public issues into a fun experience.

The workshop will provide the co-creation tool for generating future news. Participants can have a taste of the process of speculative design by using the tool to create future news, and at the end of the workshop, prototype the news by google voice service.

This project was developed in 2019 in Amsterdam with the NGO, Waag. Future News invited Amsterdam citizens to experience and talk about Smart City in the future of Amsterdam and collected more than 30 pieces of opinion in 3 hours.
